My intention for this Novena is dear to me and I know that what is important to me is important to you. Please dear Jesus, hear and answer me.

Grant what I ask, and may I always trust that in all that happens in life, you will be close to me as my friend, guide and Savior. And so, most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

A Note on Prayer

Prayer is Absolutely Necessary For The Just And Holy. However good and virtuous a man may be, he stands in constant need of divine grace to observe the commandments of God, to resist and overcome the temptations of the devil, the allurements of the world and the violence of his own passions, to perform the good works and duties of his state, and especially to persevere in the grace and friendship of God. But to be able to do all this, he must pray frequently and earnestly, otherwise he will not persevere, for the invariable rule is, "no prayer; no special grace, no perseverance, nor salvation." 
He who will not pray God for a necessary grace, does not really desire it; his lack of desire shows that he does not care for it, that he really does not want it.

Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God. I place in you all my interests and desires. Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers.

Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary of contemplating you, and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls - Pray for me.

"This prayer was found in the 50th year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  In 1505, it was sent from the pope to Emperor Charles when he was going into battle. Whoever shall read this prayer or hear it or keep it about themselves, shall never die a sudden death or be drowned, nor shall poison take effect on them; neither shall they fall into the hands of the enemy or be burned in any fire or be overpowered in battle. Say for nine mornings for anything you desire. It has never been known to fail."

In 1858 the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared eighteen times to Saint Bernadette, a humble peasant girl, at Lourdes in France. She appeared in a rocky cave in a glow of brightest light. She wore a white robe and a blue sash, and on each of her feet there was a golden rose. A white Rosary with a cross of gold hung from her right arm. 

The beautiful Lady said the Rosary with Bernadette, She asked her little friend to tell the people to do penance for their sins and to pray. One day Bernadette asked, "My Lady, would you be so kind as to tell me who you are?"

The Lady joined her hands and, looking up to heaven, said,    
 

"I am the Immaculate Conception."

   

Many miracles still take place at Lourdes where people say the Rosary to obtain help from the Blessed Virgin.

Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, accept this Holy Rosary which I offer you to show my love for you and my firm confidence in your powerful intercession. I offer it as an act of faith in the mysteries of the Incarnation and Redemption, as an act of thanksgiving to God for all his love for me and all mankind, as an act of atonement for the sins of the world especially my own, as an act of petition to God through your intercession for all the needs of God's people on earth, but especially for this earnest request.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me. I thank you for sending your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save and to set me free. I trust in your power and grace that sustain and restore me.

Loving Father, touch me now with you healing hands, for I believe that your will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit.

Cover me with the most precious blood of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.

Cast away anything that should not be in me. Root out any unhealthy and abnormal cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild and replenish any damaged areas.

Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection by the power of Jesus' precious blood.

Let the fire of your healing love pass through my entire body to heal and make new any diseased areas so that my body will function the way you created it to function.

Touch also my mind and my emotion, even the deepest recesses of my heart.

Saturate my entire being with your presence, love, joy and peace and draw me ever closer to you every moment of my life. And Father, fill me with your Holy Spirit and empower me to do your works so that my life will bring glory and honor to your holy name. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Oh Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that I may ever invoke your powerful name, the protection of the living and the salvation of the dying.  

Purest Mary, let your name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, Blessed Lady, to rescue me whenever I call on you.  

In my temptations, in my needs, I will never cease to call on you, ever repeating your sacred name, Mary, Mary. What a consolation, what sweetness, what confidence fills my soul when I utter your sacred name or even only think of you!  

I thank the Lord for having given you so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering your name. Let my love for you prompt me ever to hail you Mother of Perpetual Help. Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for me and grant me the favor I confidently ask of you.
